# TM reachability

> Will we actually reach this person by phone?

Predicts how likely a call attempt is to reach a live person — so you dial the numbers most likely to answer first.

**What it predicts** — The probability a call attempt reaches a live person rather than going unanswered.

**Who it scores** — All contactable numbers on the dialling list (invalid or technical-error records are excluded).

**The decision it drives** — Order and size call sheets: call the reachable first, and plan agent capacity around how many real conversations you can expect.

**Worked example** — An agency has capacity for 5,000 dials a week. Sorting by reachability, they front-load the numbers most likely to answer, lifting conversations per hour and shortening the campaign.

**What good looks like** — More connected calls per agent hour.

<Tip>
  **Pairs well with [TM conversion](/models/tm-conversion)** — reachable *and* likely to say yes is where you start.
